R-otters?

Just a day since our local paper ran an article on how our city rats are getting as big as otters (due to all the junk food we drop for them) the BBC has run an article about how likely you are to see a weird array of creatures quite far from their natural habitats. The current reported sightings table is as follows:

5,931 big cats

3,389 sharks

332 wild boars

51 wallabies

43 snakes

13 dangerous spiders

13 racoons

10 crocodiles

7 wolves

4 eagles

3 pandas

2 scorpions

1 penguin

So you see it may not be big fat rats but in fact otters themselves wandering round our town centres feeding on Saturday nights scraps.
